More than one hundred years ago, in a town across the sea, there was an inventor. This inventor lived alone and needed a companion. The inventor decided to make a man out of gears, pulleys, weights, and counter-weights. A clockwork man was made. He was kind to the inventor, but he wasn't quite human. He was dressed up to look like the nicest of gentlemen, and gave his inventor companionship. About one hundred years later this machine man is still in search of the kindness of strangers, just like he learned from the inventor. He offers greetings to all that he sees. He is kind to all though he still isn't quite human. This machine has the greatest features of mankind without the flaws, he is
